Maggie Labrador Retriever & Great Dane Mix Waxhaw, NC

Meet Maggie, a 5 month old Lab/Great Dane mix born around April 2015. Maggie is as awesome as they come! She is the best companion puppy; always going with you wherever you go, always wanting to be a part of whatever is happening. Maggie was recently rescued from an area high kill shelter after being surrender by her previous owner. They left her at the shelter extremely emaciated and malnourished. She was so neglected by her previous owner that due to the lack of proper nutrition as a growing puppy, her paws started to develop what looks like flat paws. Currently she is in a foster home receiving the care and nutrition she needs to correct her condition. She is expected to make a full recovery. The abuse and neglect she received at such a young age has not deterred her love of people or mobility. She is running and play just fine with her foster family’s big and little dogs. Maggie is a big time snuggler. She is gentle and sweet to everyone who meets her. Her foster mom says she is already crate trained and is doing great with house training. Maggie should weigh around 65lbs - 75lbs full grown. Her adoption donation is $250 and includes her current vaccines, microchip and future spay.
