Scottie (CELL DOG) Hound Cambridge, OH

Scottie is a hound dog mix found as a stray. He is about two years old and weighs 60 pounds. He is a nice boy who is very friendly. Scottie is currently going through some basic obedience training at The Noble County Prison. He will be house trained, crate trained, leash trained and he will learn some basic commands. He will be available for adoption for $175 at the beginning of November.

      Thank you for looking at dogs from the Guernsey County Dog Warden Dept. We are a county run facility in Cambridge, OH, We are NOT a no kill shelter! Unfortunately we must euthanize due to illness, aggression, or overcrowding. Beginning March 9, 2015 adoption fee is $115 for Guernsey County adopters and $150 for dogs adopted out of Guernsey County. This includes spay/neuter, dog tag, and first shots, rabies, and microchip! This is made possible by a grant from the Kenneth A Scott Foundation. Most dogs will be required to be  spayed/ neutered before leaving shelter!  Adoption is not final until surgery is performed. Please talk to shelter staff for more information.
     We only accept cash or checks. We cannot take debit or credit cards. You may also call the shelter between the hours of 9-5 Mon through Fri and 9-3 on Saturday, for more information and our fax number if you would like us to fax you an application. Adoption hours are 10 to 4 through the week and 10 to 2 on Saturday unless special arrangements are made in advance!!!! If coming from out of town, please call first to make sure the dog you are interested in is still available. Approved rescues also welcome!!!!
