Meet Roger

Roger is an odd duck. Loyal to the core, well behaved, low maintenance, about 7 years old, weight approximately 27 pounds. He was a tough catch as a stray and now entirely sociable with other dogs. He does well with humans after gaining their trust. He is not recommended as a first-time dog. He would be well suited in a home with adults or young adults and no children. I LOVE ROGER, but I'm not a solitary person; he would do best with a solitary person, and if you're also an odd-duck that's a bonus for him. Call Lydia, his foster mom, at 714-241-9765 for additional information on Roger. His adoption fee is $295 and covers the cost of his neuter, all core vaccines (Rabies and Distemper/Parvo), deworming, microchip and microchip registration. If you'd like to meet Roger, please complete an adoption application, available on our website, poochmatch.com, under the adoption tab. Please read the following paragraphs for additional information on our process.

If this listing is still posted, we are still accepting applications for him/her. We do not do out-of-state adoptions on highly adoptable dogs; we would only consider out-of-state adoptions for dogs that prove hard-to-place locally. We cannot hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.

If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and submit it no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Upon receipt AND approval, the dog you are interested in meeting will be made available to meet on a Saturday. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent. Please understand that private appointments will be coordinated to meet the convenience of the foster parent/transporter.

All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. and they range from $225-$495.
