Scout Shepherd & Husky Mix Waxhaw, NC

Meet Scout a Shepherd/Husky mix born around May 13th 2015. Scout is a smart, sensitive and loyal boy. He is happiest when is close to his people. He was recently rescued from an area shelter after being found abandoned on the side of the road. In just a few days, he has bonded with his foster family and enjoys all the love and attention! He will nap and snuggle for hours and is very calm and gentle around children, cats and other dogs. He follows his foster mom wherever she goes and prefer not to be alone. Scout will do best in a home where someone is home more than not. He is working on crate & leash training and making progress. He is doing great with house training and has not had one accident in his foster’s home. He has even learned to ring the door knob when he needs to go outside to potty. He currently weighs 20lbs and will weigh around 70lbs full grown. His adoption donation of $250 includes his current vaccines, microchip & future neuter.
