STUART Boxer Millerstown, PA

Hello. They call me Stuart, Mr. Stuart, or even Stewie! And please, scratch my rump while you're at it! I am approximately 6 years of age. I was picked up as a stray. It is believed I may have been used as a stud dog. My skin was a bit crusty and my ears a mess, but since I've been here at the rescue, these issues are being addressed and clearing up nicely. They are also telling me that my ears were badly cropped, cut too close and not a clean cut. Other than these things I am in good health. I am not a fan of a few of the dogs here. The males especially. But the lady dogs, I do think most of them are real lookers!Not a fan of cats. I enjoy taking walks. I am NOT fond of going to the vets. Especially when they are boring around in my ears. I need a "happy hat" put on for those shenanigans. I am a no nonsense sort of a guy. I like hanging out with people and have turned into a real cuddle bug. I do like when a person is pretending that they'll "get me". I'll run away, then come back at you boxing! It is a fun game a volunteer and I play! I also love those rump scratches! If you're not scratching, I may give a whine to get your attention. If you like a straight forward, no frills sort of dog, you just found him so pick up the phone and call so we can meet!
