Joslyn, one of the J Babies, is from a large litter originally born to an unspayed homeless cat. A few people were feeding the mama, and to keep her little ones safe, she had tucked them behind an air conditioning unit. Unfortunately, a nasty neighbor poisoned the mother, leaving the little ones to die alone. It's hard to understand such cruelty when there are so many humane options. A STAF volunteer heard the story and rescued the babies in time - they arrived at the shelter when they were just under 3 weeks old. They were in rough shape and had to be hand fed, but all had a definite will to survive! Now they're doing great! Born in late April 2015, They are spayed/neutered, and ready for forever homes. Joslyn is the baby of the family, smaller but with a big personality. She has the sweetest face and loves to gaze right into your eyes to tell you how much she likes you!

All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati. We will ask you to return to the shelter for a second visit to be sure of your decision.
