Hello out there!
Yes, YOU. I am looking right at you. Can you see me? I'm Carly and my foster mommy says that I am the most wonderful, loving, smart, sweet, affectionate, playful, 9 yr. old, Staffie gal that she has ever met! I am waiting here, with Kong, balls, ropes, and anything else that I can play fetch with, in my foster home for well over a year. I waited before that in a local, New Jersey shelter for over 7 months! I think that I am waiting for YOU so please...notice me and take me home. Fully housebroken, great in the car, and I take toys, treats and food gently, walk super on leash, know many commands, and frankly, I am a catch! Best as an only pet, even though I am ok with dogs I prefer not to live with them; best in a female home, or one where the men will be patient with me because I am less trusting of the male persuasion, must be something in my past that made me that way. Who knows? Whatever happened back then is over but it has left me less trusting of men so please be understanding of me and let me learn to slowly trust you. Anyway, back to the reason for my plea.
