Hello, my name is Blondie. I'm a quiet, 6-year-old, spayed female kitty looking for a loving home. I have a unique and funny personality. I am a timid girl, but once you start petting me I turn into a drooling tractor-kitty who loves belly rubs and has the loudest purr! I like to squeeze myself into tight spaces and play hide and seek and I am in love with my own tail. I even have two slightly different colored eyes. I’m super special and very unique. I enjoy attention and being petted and groomed. I am looking for a quiet home with someone who will give me time to adjust and get comfortable. I really love my foster brothers and am hoping to find a home with other kitties! I love following the boys I live with around and learning from them! I am litter box trained and I enjoy lounging on my cat tower. I like to stretch out in the spots of sunlight and watch the world out the window. Since I'm a little shy with new people, I need someone who will be patient with me. I promise we’ll become fast friends. I hope to find my forever family soon!

Adoption fee: $60. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

Saturday, January 19: Adoption event at Petco, 2675 S Rochester Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., come meet adoptable cats and kittens on the 3rd Saturday each month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).
Adoption event dates for 2019: January 19, February 16, March 16, April 20, May 18, June 15, July 20, August 17, September 21, October 19, November 16 and December 21.

Saturday, January 26 - Cats and Kittens: Adoption event at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd., Bloomfield Hills. From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., come meet adoptable cats and kittens on the 4th Saturday each month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).
Adoption event dates at PetPeople for 2019: January 26, February 23, March 23, April 27, May 25, June 22, July 27, August 24, September 28, October 26 and November 23. NO event in December.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
