Meet Levi-DAWGS
Meet Levi, a very handsome, 55 lb, 1 yr. old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. He is friendly, playful, very smart and treat motivated.
Levi gets along well with other dogs and cats and enjoys the company of people of all ages. He is eager to please and very willing to try new things.
Levi was recently selected for the DAWGS in Prison program, http://www.dawgsinprison.com and will graduate Dec. 9. He is available to be adopted now and can go home with you on Dec. 9.
The dogs selected for this program go through an intense 8-week training session and live with their trainers, handlers and caretakers in a dormitory style work camp. All of these dogs have had an extensive temperament test and get along well with other dogs and people.
The dogs are all crate trained, house trained, and basic obedience trained. They can be expected to sit, stay, recall, down, heel, and respond to no and leave it. The dogs are also well trained on a leash. Of course, they are up to date on all vaccines as well as spayed/neutered.
