Meet Baby
A good Samaritan found Baby climbing out from under a bush with a big chain hanging from her neck and a severely injured back leg. X-rays showed she had an old broken femur, tibia and fibula that mended together and was beyond repair. Amputation was recommended since the severely injured leg would never be functional and would cause her life-long pain. Baby had surgery to remove the injured leg and is making a remarkable recovery. She is quite happy and no longer in pain! Baby is so sweet and has a tail wag for everyone she meets. Baby is a petite young dog approximately 10 months old good with kids. As she does seem interested in other dogs/cats, she has not been tested due to her injury. We are currently looking for a foster home that would keep her active but yet allow her to heal.
