Meet Arnie
$50 adoption donation
Sweet 14 year old Arnie was turned in to the shelter after his owner passed away. The loud, crowded shelter was just too much for him, he was so terrified and out of sorts-he shook, drooled, panted, and just about had a heart attack. We were contacted by the shelter and asked to take him ASAP, which of course we did!
Arnie is the NICEST boy. He is housebroken with a doggy door, however, he only has access to a covered patio. If the home has a large yard, there should not be a doggy door as sometimes old dogs get confused and can't find their way back in.
Arnie gets along well with all the dogs, he is very submissive, so dogs in his new home should be gentle and friendly. He is about 15lbs. A little arthritic--but he gets around great! He likes to nap in the kitchen, so that's where we keep his bed and water bowl.
Arnie is a great boy who did not deserve to end his life in a shelter after being so well cared for all these years. We are hoping a caring family will open up their home to Arnie in his golden years--however long or short of a time that may be!!!
