Hey everybody! I’m J!

I’m a super friendly little guy with big time outdoor love! I’m living on a farm right now and that is just so cool! They think I’m about 2-4 years old, but no one is too sure, and I weigh about 20 lbs. I love everybody and everything so far! Although the old bear skin hanging in the barn is clearly dangerous so I keep him in line whenever I go by.

Running and playing with you are two of my favourite things, but I’ll happily curl up on your lap or at your feet for a snooze. My foster mom set up my crate in her bedroom when I moved in and I went right in and laid down and went to sleep, but when she wasn’t looking I snuck up on to the bed with her and my foster sister hee hee, I was quiet as a mouse and they didn’t even know I was there!

Fostermom is helping me be a great dog with some basic training. I’m learning sit, and down and come and well...let’s face it, this is kid stuff. I’m ready for the big leagues! Even when I took off after a swallow that dive bombed me in the barn I stopped when fostermom said Oi! J! She said she was really proud of me and that made my heart swell. I am such a good boy and I want to please my humans. I chased one of Fostermom's kitties, but she told me no and I stopped that too, sorry, I thought they were meant for chasing LOL.

I haven’t been left on my own for very long, but so far I’ve been good. And when fostermom decided that I needed a bath, I just hopped right in the tub and let her do her thing. I don’t know why she didn’t like my lovely aroma, but oh well, I’ll find that thing and roll in it again when I do heh heh heh.

Now for my wishlist: please, please let me find a forever home that has lots of room for me to run, I would so love to have a big fenced yard to tear around in… I don’t want to live in an apartment I would be very unhappy. I’d like to live with people who are around most of the time (working from home or retired?) and would maybe take me for agility oh and I would really like hikes too if you’re up for it, I think I’d like that a lot. I’m just so easy to hang out with that I know you would love me.

Why not fill in an application so that the rescue can chat with you about me. Filling it in doesn’t mean you have to adopt, it just means that the rescue gets info before they chat with you to see if we’d be a good fit!
