Chantelle is approximately eight years old and was rescued from the Maricopa County shelter. Chantelle landed at her foster mom's house, asked where the doggy door was and never had an accident. She is a perfect little lady. The word "sweet" must have been made for her. She adores squeaky toys, loves to sleep in in bed with her mom and is just the perfect little pup of all time. She does bark on occasion, but her mom nicknamed her "squeaky" because she squeaks with glee. When we rescued her she had a golf ball sized tumor which was removed. We had Dr. Gilsen review the surgical notes and he said that Chantelle is adoptable and should make a wonderful and healthy pet. The new owner will need to check the surgical site for regrowth on a quarterly basis for the next year. If it reoccurs, she may need another surgery to get better margins. Chantelle would be great for a single or older person. She is well behaved. She loves walks too and tends to be a little pudgy . . . so moderate exercise would be good for her.

Arizona Poodle Rescue is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located in the Phoenix and Tucson area.
