Cassie is a wonderful poet, but never got the recognition she deserved. She originally wrote the poem, The Raven, about her foster sister, Raven, but Edgar Allen Poe stole the poem and the credit for her work. Unwilling to spend the time and money on a copyright lawsuit, Cassie is content that she, Raven, and her fans here at Chicago Cat Rescue know who really wrote that poem, and now you know the truth as well. Both Cassie and her muse, Raven, are tranquil and beautiful. Are these a pair you can ignore? Quoth the Raven, Nevermore.

Cassie would do best with another feline companion. We are looking to adopt her out with her foster sister, Raven.

At Chicago Cat Rescue, we take pride in finding homes for our felines that best support their physical and emotional well-being. Because of this, we do not ship cats and only do local adoptions.
