Meet Max

Max Massimo came to us from a high kill shelter simply as "Max," but as our love has grown for this handsome Great Dane mix (and how could it not?), so has his name. This incredibly sweet boy loves to play with everyone--people, dogs--and his caretakers describe him as "not having one mean bone in his body." And let us add how adorable that body is! He is compliant, he is kind, and while he is currently being professionally trained, occasionally his exuberance still gets the best of him with a jump for joy. He'll do great in the city, he'll do great in the country, he'll do great with dogs of all sizes and humans with hearts almost as big as his, if only because it's hard to imagine anyone's whose heart is this giant!
