Zeus Dachshund Tracy, CA

This is Zeus. As you can see, he is a purebred black/tan miniature Dachshund. He currently weighs about 12 lbs. We found this beautiful senior boy at a shelter. When we heard his story that his owner had passed and he ended up at the shelter, we just couldn't leave him there, and we pulled him into our rescue.

This little fellow is amazing. He is agile and walks like a trooper and is a pleasure to walk on a leash. He would love to be your lap warmer and seems happiest when he is in someone's lap or arms. Our vet checked him over and said he is relatively healthy for a senior guy. He will need some dental work, but other than that, she felt that he is ready to be someone's best walking partner and best buddy. Zeus is crate trained and also rides well in the car.

Zeus is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped. We are raising funds to cover his dental expenses.
