Meet Carrie-DAWGS
Meet Carrie, a very pretty, 17 lb, 7 month old Black lab mix girl, who loves everyone she meets! She is mixed with a smaller breed dog than a lab and will be medium sized when full grown.
She is very affectionate, friendly and playful. Carrie is great with other dogs and cats.
She was recently chosen for the DAWGS in Prison program, http://www.dawgsinprison.com . The dogs selected for this program go through an intense 8-week training session and live with their trainers, handlers and caretakers in a dormitory style work camp. All of these dogs have had an extensive temperament test and get along well with other dogs and people. They are available for adoption now and will go home with you after graduation on October 14. The dogs are all crate trained, house trained, and basic obedience trained. They can be expected to sit, stay, recall, down, heel, and respond to no and leave it. The dogs are also well trained on a leash. The dogs are up to date on all vaccines as well as spayed/neutered. If you would like to adopt please fill out the application at www.dawgsinprison.com
