Al is deaf and partially blind in one eye, but that doesn't seem to slow him down! He is a friendly, happy, energetic boy who learns very quickly. Al is currently in a Maine foster home, and having a blast! He loves the water, has a great time playing with other dogs, and sticks close to his people. Al is still a young boy, and will need plenty of exercise. Training is key for a dog like Al, and he will do best in an active, dog-savvy home. Are you the right home for this handsome guy?

This application is designed to help us assist you in finding the right dog for your family. We will respond to your email within 24 hours. We will check veterinarian, landlord, and/or personal references provided. After, a volunteer will contact you for a home visit. After approval, you are able to adopt any available dog. An adoption fee in the amount of $440 for puppies (16 weeks and under) and $390 for all others, unless specifically marked, is due at time of adoption and this covers previous expenses of the dog- appropriate vaccinations, altering, microchipping, one month of heart worm preventative to arrive with your pet, and transportation fees.
