Meet Sirius
Sirius was found as a stray living outside in the frigid cold. It was discovered that he had a painful condition of the mouth called stomatitis and a number of broken/rotten teeth. After verifying that Sirius was an otherwise healthy cat, the vet performed dental surgery. Since being in foster care, Sirius has become a very loving kitty cat. He started out very scared and unsure of his surroundings, but has become a social, affectionate, and snuggly little fellow. He loves to talk, but is happiest if he's snuggling. He sleeps with his foster mom every night. He purrs and he head butts to show his love, and sometimes even gives very gentle kisses. When he is very comfortable, he'll even roll over for belly rubs… and has fallen asleep like that! Although Sirius has become very comfortable with his foster mom, he's still a very nervous kitty. Because of this, Sirius would do best in a quiet home without children or dogs. He would be ok with other kitties, as long as the kitties were tolerant of his enthusiastic playing and weren't bullies. He really likes to play and rough-house with his kitty friends, but also bathe them and snuggle with them. Sirius would make a wonderful addition to a quiet, loving household. He is sweet, loyal, and makes a fantastic feline companion. The adoption fee for Sirius is $50 which includes neuter, full vaccines, and microchip.
