Meet Chief

Chief was saved by some heroic people from being loaded in a horse trailer and taken off to be shot. His death would have been a tragic loss to the world of canines because he truly is a magnificent dog. Someone must have been kind to Chief during his early years of foraging for food and surviving with a pack of dogs most often mistreated because he delights in human company and loves every person he meets. He has just a few stipulations for other dogs that he lives with, and we have known him to object to some, but he is mostly agreeable and compatible with other dogs. He is an all-around good dog who can learn many things and be great for going on walks and also for quiet companionship. -
