Heyyyy, I’m Ray, Ray Charles, and I am one smooooooth Jack.

I am a gentle guy and love to have fun too. I also happen to be a devilishly handsome guy. I’m only about 2 years old and I weigh about 20 lbs I’m told. I’m working on being completely trusting of humans; you see, someone bad threw me out the window of a car not long ago. I’m lucky that someone saw and saved me, but if JRTRO hadn’t spoken for me when they did...well, I don’t like to think about what would have happened. It was a very unhappy place to be. I do believe that not all humans are bad. I will just take my time to suss you out before I will give my heart and soul to you. But I will.

I really like other animals a lot. Especially dogs and cats. My dream would be to live on a small farm, but hey, I’m not fussy, I’ll go where the love is. I love to explore and my foster dad calls me “inquisitive”, nothing wrong with exploring your surroundings right?! I’m learning some human words, bet I’d be awesome school and agility. So far I learned “get in your house” and “sit” and “cookie” -- surprisingly they often seem to go together!

I’m an active guy, well I am a JRT after all! I’m told that I have two speeds, off and full speed ahead! I htink I might be a descendent of Super Dog, because I’m faster than a speeding bullet and can leap tall buildings in a single bound! Play time is my favourite with my foster brother. He’s a hoot and we have a great time together. I like going in the car too, it’s cool to watch the world zoom by and feel the wind coming in the window on my face. Plus I think that walks are pretty cool too -- I am actually a very good walker on the leash, just in case you were wondering.

Foster dad helps me with my need to chew by giving me an antler. It’s great, I can gnaw and gnaw and it’s kind of relaxing! I really like to watch TV and nap with my foster dad too. I let him know if he needs to make room for me with a little noise and he is pretty smart, because he makes room right away! He trains well too. I also act as a very reliable alarm clock for him and each day I will give him a poke, a kick, a lick or a nudge. I like to change things up, makes it more interesting that way for him!
