Meet Sydney
Hi! My name is Sydney & I'm being fostered in Nanaimo.
I am a 7yr. old by, weighing about 8lbs, with long flowing blonde hair.
Besides being absolutely beautiful, I am almost 100% house & pee pad trained. I get along well with other little dogs, but I'm a bit scared of big dogs. I'm sure you will teach me that they're ok? I like to go for walks & car rides, but mostly I love to snuggle.
I do have a couple special traits that my new home should know about, but they're really not that big of a deal.
First off, as you can see, I only have one eye. But that doesn't stop me; I see perfectly fine out of the one I do have. What happened you ask? Well, I was attacked by a big dog, and the vet decided that my eye couldn't be saved. Don't be sad for me, I'm not!
Secondly, I have a small heart murmur. The doctor said it's not a big deal, that most Chihuahua's seem to have them, so I guess my heart is normal! It's not causing me any problems right now, and probably won't for a very long time, if ever.
Apparently my old owners said I would have the occasional seizure; probably due to the head injury I received when I was attacked by the big dog. I've been with my foster mom for a couple months now and haven't had one since being there, so the vet said it's not serious.
My shots are up to date and I have just had all my dental work done as well; I'm ready to find my forever home! Is that with you?
Sydney's adoption fee is $200
