Meet Lakota
We need your help - please share this boy's post so we can find him the RIGHT home.
This is Lakota. He has been a puppy mill breeding dog his entire life. He is a Red and White Siberian Husky who is 7 years old. He is blind. He maneuvers very well with the sound of your voice.
He is a VERY sweet boy. He is learning very quickly around here and maneuvering the building and exercise yards very well. He will adjust very well to a home environment with minimal work because he picks it up so quickly.
He would be best in a home without small children so he doesn't get startled - he isn't very playful - he is calm and loveable. Much more of a couch potato. He would also do best in a single story home - blind dogs have a difficult time (for the most part) with stairs and with his age we would prefer not to see him have to maneuver stairs.
He has never known a real family. His only purpose in life was to impregnate the females. He is a beautiful boy who deserves a chance at a family.
Help us by sharing his story so we can find him a home. He is now current on his shots and has been neutered.
