Additional Information: Trevor was purchased as a puppy by a wealthy family who basically wanted a dog for their children. They didn't give him the attention, exercise, or training that he needed growing up and he pretty much raised himself. The kids were also not supervised with him and were at times too rough with him. He developed resource guarding issues with the family and would not allow them near toys or bones or any object (including items like trash) that he believed were "his." One day during a child's birthday party he became spooked (there was no doubt a lot of activity and noise and they were all wearing masks) and he ended up biting his owner in the face as she was sitting on the floor. Because of this they decided to give him up.

Trevor is not a mean dog. He is a very friendly, playful and happy go lucky boy. He greats strangers with enthusiasm and loves to play with other dogs. He just needs an owner who will show him they they are pack leader and he is not. They must be firm and consistent with him and not treat him like a furry baby. He needs rules and boundaries and is a dog that should not be allowed on the furniture. (Unless an owner is willing to teach him to ask to come up and get off when told.)

Trevor has been through basic obedience training and knows the commands sit, down, come, stay, and heel. He is completely housebroken and crate trained and loves going into his crate. He is still very puppy like and loves to chew so will need lots of toys...he especially loves nylabones. He is a dog that does well entertaining himself but would also love to have a doggie sibling or two to play with.
