Meet Teddy

DUE TO A LARGE RESPONSE, WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY MORE APPLICATIONS FOR TEDDY WHILE WE PROCESS CURRENT APPS, THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST!

My name is Teddy. I’m 2 years old and only 9 lbs.
I know you read this on other dog’s profiles, but I really am the sweetest little dog that you ever will meet!

I am a Jack Russell chihuahua mix and I have the best attributes from each breed. I have gorgeous markings and a lovely smooth coat that I just love to have stroked. My foster parents have nicknamed me ‘the little fox’ and I have to say I think it suits me! I am only a little guy that was so so shy when I first arrived but thanks to my amazing foster brother I have really come out of my shell. I love to play around with him and can definitely hold my own against his rough and tumble antics. I also learned how to keep myself busy with toys and make sure I can entertain myself whenever my brother Sherlock wants to take a break from playing.

My foster parents told me to make sure I mention that I sometimes do a bit of business in the house. I really try not to, but occasionally I leave a little message from time to time. I’m sure with a bit more time and guidance I will be able to remember to hold on til I’m outside each time...I really appreciate the faith shown in me by being left outside of my crate but I would understand and have no problems if you wanted to make sure no messages await by using a crate to begin with.

Something that might take a little longer for me to get used to is walking on the leash. I don’t hate it or anything, I just think it a little funny to run around my foster mum or dad and try and wrap their legs up! Nobody has fallen yet but I’m sure there is a little more time!

Getting back to what I am really good at though is snuggling. In fact my foster parents have told me I could well be the best little snuggler in the whole wide world. I just love to be with them and love letting them know how much I love them by snuggling my nose right into their necks and giving them as many kisses as I can, before Sherlock is ready to play again. I am told I am very affectionate so be ready to be loved!

I’m a polite eater (you should see Sherlock gobble his food haha!) but I can get a little excited if you have a treat and jump up a little. My foster parents are cool with it because I love to stand up to make sure they know I am there and ready for my world famous snuggles.

I sleep really well, whether you want me to keep your feet warm on the bed or prefer me to snooze in my own bed. My humans tell me I’m the best alarm clock they have (whatever one of those is)...but what can I say? I have so much love to give I want to wake them up and let them know as soon as I see one of their eyes slightly open. Who doesn’t love a little kiss to start the day?

My humans say I am just the sweetest and I get on with everyone from kids to dogs and everyone in between. My tail is always wagging because I am so happy with life and just want to bring happiness to whomever is looking for a loving companion to join their family. It brings a little tear to my eye knowing the foster family I’m with will miss me so much...but I know they are always going to remember their little fox and they are super excited that I can spread my love far and wide.

So if you fancy meeting me and falling in love, please see more information below.
