Meet IZZY
MEET IZZY!
IZZY has been with us for a few months, but when she was arrived she was in heat - so we were not able to have her spayed and ready for adoption until now! Izzy was spayed last week. She is up-to-date on vaccines and ready for a new home!
Izzy is approximately three years old. We believe she is a Pit Bull/Lab mix. She weighs 52 lbs. She came to us underweight and it looked like she may have had previous litters.
Her story is a sad one - Izzy and her human sister were both abandoned by their human mom at a family members house. The family member who took them in - was not prepared to take care of both Izzy and a human child so a responsible decision was made for Izzy and the family member brought her to Charley's so that she could find a family that will love her and be able to care for her.
Izzy is very sweet, very affectionate and FULL of energy. She needs a family that will be able to exercise her daily. She has lived with young children before without issue, but she is a jumper, so probably best suited for larger children that can handle being jumped on!
Despite her rough beginning, Izzy loves everyone she meets. She is a "glass-half-full" kind of girl.
She is said to get along with male dogs, but would prefer not to share her home with female dogs. We have no information regarding Izzy's feelings towards felines.
