DESCRIPTION: Wiggles is a shihtzu poodle mix. We estimate her to be about a year old.. She weighs about 10 lbs.
HOW SHE BECAME HOMELESS: This girl was found wandering the streets of Tucson, AZ. A good samaritan found her with her and brought her to the local animal control facility. They tried to find her owner with no success so they contacted Arizona Poodle Rescue.
PERSONALITY: At night, she sleeps right next to her foster mom in bed. Wiggles is a very loving girl and gets along well with other dogs and cats. She is very active and will need a home where someone is home most of the time until she gets familiar with her new surroundings. Wiggles is a "velcro" dog and sticks close to her foster Mom, so she could be a trip hazard for anyone with balance problems. She seems housetrained but no guarantees.
HEALTH: Our vet says she is in good health and ready for adoption.
ACTIVITIES: Wiggles follows her foster mom all over the house. She loves to cuddle and sits quietly watching old movies She also likes to play with the other dogs and toys.
WIGGLES' HOPES AND DREAMS: She does not like moving about and wants to put down roots. She wishes for a soft bed to cuddle and loving human massages.
APR's HOPES AND DREAMS for Wiggles: We ask that her adopter feed no-grain high quality food, a safe clean outdoor space to play and potty.
Arizona Poodle Rescue is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located in the Phoenix and Tucson area.
