Shelby German Shorthaired Pointer Mix Magnolia, TX

I am Shelby and I would like to tell my own story. Basically I was left tied to a bar stool, yes, in an actual bar! I was taken in by a nice lady, got a home, got hit by a car, lost the home, and then the nice lady got me into AAR. Yay me! I had to get my leg amputated because of the accident but no worries, I am good as new! I got to stay with a foster family that had two other dogs that I just loved! I was a good girl from the start they said. I did have a few accidents in the house but it was just a settling in period. I learned quickly that if I went potty outside then I would get a treat when I came inside. A win win if you ask me! I walk great on a leash. I adore car rides. I like bones that have stuff in them that I have to work to get out. Sometimes I have little tremors on my head which could be due to distemper as a puppy. You can't really see them until I get tired, but they don't bother me. They do make people want to kiss and hug me because they think it is sad. I just say, lets move on! That is the past and I am one super happy girl now looking for her forever home. If you have the perfect home for me, then I say lets meet! Hope to see you soon! Hug, Shelby
