Meet Snoop, good with animals-CRITICAL!

Imagine, for a moment, what it would feel like to have been raised in a safe and loving home for approximately four years, and having a familar loved one to spend precious time with you, comfort you when you are frightened and, basically, meet your every need during that time. You love your family and know unequivocally that they will always be there to love and protect you. Now imagine going on a car ride...just like other 'happy' car rides, only this time you are taken to an animal shelter and LEFT THERE by the very family you have spent your entire life with. Obviously you don't speak the language, so you don't even understand why or what is really going on. This is the recent sad reality for a young pit bull dog named 'Snoop' who was recently relinquished at the Louisville KY Metro Animal Control. Snoop does understand one thing; he knows that he has been left in a scary place WITHOUT his family members and he is scared to death! "They said this guy literally sat there and cried when his owner left and has shutdown ever since. They told the owner it was a high kill shelter and he would probably die. She didn't care." This callous individual didn't just abandon Snoop to a very likely death; she also left a bewildered St Bernard dog who, luckily, was quickly adopted. Of course the other dog's adoption has left our poor Snoop REALLY ALONE. I can't begin to imagine how this level of betrayal would feel to a dog that has been used to being a loved family member, but I do know that it angers me and breaks my heart at the same time. As you can see from Snoop's picture, this is one absolutely striking boy in appearance. Only 4 years in age Snoop has been neutered, up to date with his shots, and used to being INDOORS with his family as well. I'm not finished yet, folks...this boy is an exceptional dog in other ways too; Snoop is friendly and loves dogs and cats as well! It really doesn't get any better than this...superb looks, a wonderful temperment and friendly with everything and everybody! All of these positive attributes won't mean a thing, though, if Snoop can't find someone to QUICKLY believe in him and aspire to save his life. This gorgeous dog must be considered highly critical...remember that he was left in a HIGH KILL shelter and may be killed at any time. If you are even slightly considering adding a dog to your family, this is your opportunity to get a wonderfully behaved and loving boy...basically the perfect dog. There is a slight chance that Snoop will be fostered by 'Wes' for no more than a week or two; it is said that Wes witnessed Snoop being left at the Louisville Metro shelter, and also witnessed poor Snoop's immediate crying when the 'owner' turned and walked away. Wes may be called or texted at 502-424-5923 for additional details and assistance in a rehoming effort. If Wes cannot be reached, please text Deb at 812-430-8009....but PLEASE CALL. Snoop's life depends on it.
