LATTE Poodle & Yorkshire Terrier Mix Lawrenceville, GA

Latte is a beautiful Yorkiepoo mix, champagne in color and with light brown eyes. She's betweemn 1and 2 years old, and weighs 13 lbs. She is a sweet, loving and playful little girl. She has been with us for 6 months now, waiting for her forever home. Here's an update from her foster mom...
Update: Latte has been with us now for almost 6 months, because we are committed to finding the right home for her to grow and develop. She has an emotional disability derived from her prior hoarding environment...she is extremely fearful of people, particularly new to her life. She has made wonderful progress but it will take a committed and sensitive owner to bring her out of her shell completely.
She will still retreat if she meets someone new at her foster home or hears a sudden loud sound that she is not used to. Her fear of the unknown is high but in the rather quiet and predictable environment of her foster home, she is showing real progress.
Latte feels safest around another dog so we require that a friendly dog be present in the adopted home. She loves to play so an elderly dog wouldn't be a good fit for her. She is loving and sweet without any aggression but needs to warm up to her new owners so patience is key, and her owner(s) being present during the day to build a relationship with her is critical.
A fenced-in yard is absolutely required and her new owner must realize that the fence be secure. She should never be left alone while playing outside. Should Latte get out...her fearfulness would prevent anyone from getting to her, so knowing this upfront is essential to keeping her safe.
Her skin issues have been cleared up and her lovely hair is growing in quite well. She is a great eater and is very food-oriented for training purposes although she is very smart and picks things up quickly.
Latte is house trained and sleeps in a crate by the bedside quietly,going into her crate on her own when it is time for sleep.
All in all, she is an excellent little princess who is a tomboy at heart.

Latte is fully vetted spayed/neutered, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $200 (cash only, please).
