Hello!! Are you looking for an XL dog? Then let us introduce you to Nicci. We are unsure of her breed, but our guess is a mix of possibly of any of these: Keeshond/Malamute/Pyrenees/Norwegian Elkhound/Husky.
She weighed in at 24 lbs as of 5/19/15
Nikki graduated from beginning puppy class, knows basic commands; sit, stay, down. Housebroken, crate trained. Loves walks, playing with other dogs, she is friendly with the cat. She is very good with children and has a sweet disposition. Loves to have her fluffy coat brushed daily, and she loves to be outside!
She is a favorite at the vets office with her great personality. She is very smart and listens to directions. She knows to only chew on her puppy toys. At the end of the day she gets her toys to put in her crate and lays on them during the night.
She is showing some great pry traits, loud noises startle her, she wants to be by your side during thunderstorms.
She is very social and wants to be in the mix of all household activities including folding laundry! She is a great companion, sweet and playfulness combined.
Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies.
Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a “teen” or adult dog.
Standard adoption fee is $295 (cash or check) and includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, up-to-date on shots, fecal, deworming, frontline, 1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, micro-chipping and 30 days of shelter care insurance.
