Valentine "Val" Dachshund Mix Kent, WA

Val is a sweet, sweet dog. She came from California when it became obvious that she was not going to find a home in the LA area. The shelter really worked with us and then Gettin' em Home made her travel possible. Wonderful people. Val weighs 17 pounds and is about 8 years old. Valentine has crinkly ears from past chronic ear infections. Her new family will need to keep an eye on that. She enjoys the company of dogs but really loves people, especially women. She rode the last hour of her transport in the lap of the driver. I know that is not the safest place but she insisted. :-) The shelter listed her as a beagle mix but I would not be surprised if she is a chihuahua/dachshund mix. I have met her and held her and I am sure that she is sweetest dog ever. Why her family never came looking for her is beyond my imagination. Oh, you'd better like doggie kisses as Val loves giving them.
