Dempsey Havanese & Shih Tzu Mix Orange, CA

Besides being adorable, little Dempsey is a 6-8 year-old, 12-lbs. Havanese / Shih Tzu mix. Since being in his foster home, he has come out of his shell and is a total clown. He likes to run and play with other dogs & soft toys (but is scared of the squeakers!). Dempsey LOVES cookies, belly rubs, and getting his hair brushed. He also likes his quiet time, and from time to time will go off into his small hiding place …his current favorite being the closet.

He is housebroken (goes to the door and lets out 1 bark when he as to go out). He enjoys going on walks with his foster family and the resident pups in the home (2-chihuahua and a basset hound). He has a ball wandering around and playing with smaller dogs at the local dog park.

Dempsey really likes to have a buddy and would do well in a home with another dog. He doesn’t pay any attention to cats so would be fine in a family that includes a kitty. He is good with kids of all ages but shy around new men (but he warms up quickly!).

Dempsey is neutered, current on all vaccinations and micro chipped. He is being fostered in Southern California and is available for adoption.
