Meet Rickey

Rickey was brought to the shelter by his family. We are not certain of the circumstances surrounding his surrender, and Rickey was quite confused and sad about the entire event. He took a bit of time before he wanted to be around us, and we felt so sorry for the poor little guy. He is so adorable, and although we wanted to shower him with love, we knew to give him his space. Being the Chihuahua that he is, Rickey has found his voice and his place here. He is a spunky, feisty, funny little fella who has opinions and no qualms about sharing them. He had a wonderful time during his photo session and it's obvious he likes the limelight. Rickey gets along with the other little dogs and very much needs to find his home. We still sense some sadness in him and the only fix for that is a family. -
