Kiki-In MAINE! Terrier & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Westbrook, ME

Kiki arrived to Maine in March 2015 and is really enjoying being in a foster home, but would prefer a forever home!

Kiki was seized and rescued in an animal cruelty case in Arkansas. She is adjusting very well to her new life. Kiki's EST DOB 05/01/14, she is heartworm free and weighs 45 lbs as of 02/2016. Kiki has puppy energy, but settles inside nicely and is crate and house trained. She likes dining alone. She is ok with cats. Kiki needs to live in a home where she is the only dog.

Update from foster mom: We had a fun summer with Kiki! We took many trips to the lake where she learned to love the water and hunt frogs. She is an active and curious dog, and is also proving to be a smart one! She is observant and does the cutest head tilts when she listens to you talk. We are working on teaching good manners, but she still has her silly puppy moments! Kiki is a ball of energy during the day, but settles down nicely and really loves cuddle time in the evening. She has brought so much joy to our home and we hope she doesn't have to wait much longer to find her forever home.

This application is designed to help us assist you in finding the right dog for your family. We will respond to your email within 24 hours. We will check veterinarian, landlord, and/or personal references provided. After, a volunteer will contact you for a home visit. After approval, you are able to adopt any available dog. An adoption fee in the amount of $450 for all dogs is due at time of adoption and this covers previous expenses of the dog- appropriate vaccinations, altering, microchipping and transportation fees.
