My name is Mr Magoo and I am an 8- 10yr old Pekingnese. I was left alone in a house for three weeks as my owner got very sick and ended up hospitalized with little chance of recovery.. I had a canine brother and sister there with me but it was still very lonely and confusing. A nice lady kept coming over and feeding us once a day and we did have our doggie door so we got to go outside. I am so glad my foster mom came and got us because I needed a haircut terribly and I was getting to the point where I couldn't walk and my collar was literally choking me. She washed us and shaved me down I am getting back to my happy goofy self already! I am very, very affectionate ,I am not a barker, I live to be patted and loved, and if you think just because I'm a little older that I'm going to lay around all day you are very very wrong. I love going outside it would be great if there was another canine sibling there but it's not necessary as long as I have you, my new forever human?? I do need eyedrops once a day but other than that I feel great! When my coat is long, it is a really pretty reddish brown, but because I was so tangled, I had to be shaved down. My adoption fee is $200. All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Our application process:
FIRST, an application must be approved for adoption from our rescue.
SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc.
If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again. We will make every effort to find the right dog for an approved applicant.
