Meet Honeybun

My name is Honeybun and I’m a pretty little 3-year-old tan terrier-hound mix looking for a loving family and forever home. An inside dog living in a foster home now, I get along well with the kids who talk to me across the fence. Having another dog or two in the family would be great because I play well with others. But I have to admit the hound in me does love to chase a cat. I have a lot of energy and love to play and run, but I also love to snuggle. My foster mom says I give wonderful kisses and have a gentle personality. Laying my head in someone’s lap to be loved on is one of my favorite things to do. I also enjoy car rides and long walks; I’m very good at walking on a leash. When I bark to let my mom know someone is approaching, I stop when corrected and quickly warm to our guests. I know how to sit for my food and come when called, so I’m pretty sure learning to obey other commands would come easily.
