Meet Muffin Man
I live in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Here is my situation.
Late this fall I noticed a very pretty male gray and white cat that was extremely skinny. Someone in the neighborhood told me the owner moved and abandoned him. I occasionally started putting food outside for him because my heart couldn’t stand to see him starve. Then it started getting extremely cold and I came home one day to find his paws stuck to the frozen ice on my driveway. With the winter being what it is, I would let him in for the night if he came around.
I have called various shelters to no avail. Lately, since he is not a “house” cat, he has been getting more “frisky” and nibbling on me….I am diabetic and cannot healthwise afford any type of infection. I also have an inside cat of my own that he chases if he is in his feisty mood. I am sure that given time, he would make someone a wonderful companion in a home with only him.
I cannot afford another cat as I take many medications that are expensive (insulin dependent diabetic - 3 scrips/mth) and already have a very docile inside cat. Could you please help me with “Muffin Man” (this is the nickname I gave him) ? I am desperate at this point! Thank you.
