Comet Chihuahua & Poodle Mix Los Angeles, CA

Comet was rescued with his sister Cookie from the shelter. He is a 2 year old, 10 lb. Chihuahua/poodle mix. He does shed. He is a little fearful of strangers but not aggressive. It may be his style that he takes a while to get used to new situations. He is low energy, shy, and not needy or high maintenance. He likes the other dogs in the house and is chill about walking outside on his leash to go potty! He can use potty pads and is house trained, calm and not a barker. He bonds quickly and will follow you round like a shadow; he has separation anxiety and will whine and bark when left alone although if he is crated that will settle him down and make him happy. We do not recommend Comet for a home with small children as he could be easily overwhelmed; he should be just fine with older kids. He should fit in just fine with a couple or family with older kids. Comet is a sun bunny and likes nothing better than to lie in the sun and just relax. He's a very sweet little boy who needs a patient, loving person to help him continue to grow in confidence. He's even good with cats!
