Blue Horse Paint / Pinto Elkhart Lake, WI

Blue is an adoptable Paint gelding with stunning blue eyes and a brilliant white coat. He was saddle trained as a 3 year old while still a stallion. About that time it was discovered that Blue was deaf. His owners and handlers began having safety issues with him...as he would startle and bolt at seemingly innocent movements. Because of this he was separated from the herd and has lived most of his life in solitude. He was gelded very late in life...about age 10 which also contributed to his anti social behavior. While we've tried to integrate him into our gelding herd....his stallion like mindset has not changed nor improved greatly. He has become much more safe in our handling...and on the ground with people. Does not shy away or jump near as much....however he still cannot seem to get along with other geldings and believes it's still his job to "protect and defend" the mares on the other side of the fence! He is really quite a gentleman and has begun retraining in the arena. He will make a fantastic horse for someone once he gains some confidence and learns to get along with other geldings.
