Meet Bernie
Bernie is a 6-8 year old beagle who came to us a stray and was never claimed. Bernie is basically a perfect, laid back guy with a gentle demeanor and the sweetest personality. He is very quiet (rare for a beagle!) and seems to be housebroken. He walks very well on the leash and is a great snuggler in his spare time. He has been fine with every dog he has encountered in the shelter setting. Bernie would make a great choice for a first time dog owner because he's such an easy going guy who really doesn't need much training to be happy. The shelter is no place for a middle aged guy to be! Come down and fall in love with this charming little guy today!
