Meet Chance

Chance is a male Pit Bull terrier, weighing about 45 pounds. Chance is a toy loving maniac! You would never guess he was over five years old watching him play in Curtis Whitaker dog park. Chance does well on a leash using an Easy Walk harness. He is one of our current pet therapy dogs, visiting nursing homes and assisted living facilities helping to enrich the residents lives. Chance would be best as the only dog in his new home. He does not mind other dogs, but will not share toys. He is not recommended with cats, but may be trainable with an experienced owner. Chance has been at the Humane Society since January of 2015. He desperately would like to find a home of his very own. *Chance requires a fenced-in yard, children over 12 yrs old.

*Chance's adoption fee is $100. A home visit will be required prior to adopting Chance. All HSSCM dogs have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and they are on monthly heartworm/flea prevention.*
