Meet Louie
Meet Louie he is now at the shelter but info below is from his foster mom.
The vet believes he is about 7 years old and an apricot-colored
Yorkie-Poodle mix. We definitely see the Yorkie and Poodle personalities in his behaviors. He is about 9 1/2 pounds and his hair is starting to grow back in nicely. He is blind in both but this doesn't stop him from getting around, walking on a leash, or finding his food and water. He just needs a little extra verbal cueing to find his way around. He comes when called and has done surprisingly well with being housebroken (we've only had a few accidents). He stays in a crate when all of the
humans are away from the house and does very well with it. At night, he sleeps in bed with us using a harness and leash attached to the headboard so he can't walk off the edge by accident. Louie is a total lap dog and is happiest when being held. He rides well in the car and gets along great with other dogs. He’s had a dental and he had several teeth extracted.
