Astoria Domestic Short Hair Medfield, MA

Astoria was found as a stray in Boston. She is approximately 2 years old and is spayed and up-to-date on her vet care. She was adopted a few weeks ago by someone that told us she is so friendly, purrs a lot and slept on the bed with her. She loves to be a lap cat, and loves to play with wand toys and water bottle caps. She loves to follow you around and will jump in your lap as soon as you sit down. Unfortunately, even though she got along with the other cats at the Shelter, she did not get along with the cats in the home and tried to chase them and beat them up, so she has been returned to us to find a new home where she can be the only cat. She is great with people and would love to have an owner that wants a snuggly cat.

The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers and all visits to the Shelter must be scheduled in advance to insure one of our volunteers is at the shelter to meet you. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125. Our kitten adoption fee (cats up to 6 months old) is $160 for a single kitten or $260 for a pair. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, combo testing and spaying/neutering when old enough.
