Mickey Chihuahua Mix Madras, OR

Mickey came in as a stray along with Mindy. They have been seen wandering around town for quite a while and both were very thin. Mickey was timid and shy, but with lots and lots of yummy food and treats, this darling is showing us who he really is! He is around 7 years old and is a lap dog. He loves to cuddle, either with another dog, or with us. Mickey is housetrained, but if there are spots where other dogs have peed, he thinks it's rather appropriate to mark on top of it. He is fine with cats. We do not adopt dog into homes where they will be outside dogs. We believe dogs belong inside with their people.

Pupdate - Mickey is not shy any longer! He has warmed up here, and has shown us a very sweet, cuddly lap dog. He is very friendly with other dogs. He got to help socialize a big group of puppies that were pretty much bigger than him and he was fabulous! He wrestled gently, corrected appropriately, and had a blast with the pups! Mickey got to go on a sleep over and he was fabulous. Well mannered, loved going for walks, and greatly enjoyed the resident dog. He can get growly when adult dogs approach his food, but that is easy to manage.

Mickey's adoption fee is $125 and includes neuter, current vaccines, microchip, free vet visit, 30 days free pet health insurance and custom engraved ID tag.
