MY AGE: born 10/15 (7 months 5/15) WEIGHT: 18lbs, 3/1 (he may be around 34lbs as an adult) WHERE I AM FROM: AL
MY STORY:The mama of the pups was found as a stray and taken to a local shelter. She proceeded to have puppies the same day. Peace is the largest pup. Temperment= He is easy going. Gets along with my cats, other dogs and kids. Also loves when company comes over. Doesn't bark that often. Follows me around and settles down nicely on his pillow when I'm at the computer. He does love to chew. He loves those .99 cent hooves and I just got an antler too. He occasionally will grab a shoe but I just exchange it for a hoof and he is happy. We are still working on potty training. It's mostly our fault as we forget to let him out every hour and a half like we should be doing. We actually stopped kenneling him except for feeding times. He's pretty easy for a puppy. He hasn't ruined anything that I can think of. He does prefer my lap over everyone elses so he will probably have a strong bond with one person. I just make sure I have a hoof in every room and try to keep things interesting. I got a doggy puzzle at Goodwill yesterday and he is very smart. He figured out where all the treats were hidden in no time. I used to play hide and seek with our old dog Cosmo years ago and I have just started this with the puppy. He's always looking for me anyways so I thought why not make a game of it and engage his mind.
Now that it's finally warming up we will start to walk too.
My dog Theo and the puppy snuggle together and play hard together. Peace also loves trying to get Kinsey our Weim to play too. She kept bringing over a tug toy to us this morning and I played with the puppy's help.
His favorite thing to do at night is snuggle on your lap or next to you.
PLEASE NOTE to ensure successful training and socialization of a puppy, they need frequent potty breaks, playtime and exercise throughout the day for many months . . This dog does shed and is not hypoallergenic.

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION. The application can be found on our site www.fluffydog.net, or by clicking on the purple Fluffy Dog Rescue wording found in the left corner of this page under the dogs name.
Our dogs are located in foster homes throughout the state. We do not have a facility. Adopters must be 24 years old.We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
