ADOPTION PENDING.......AS OF JANUARY 2017 Hi.....Did you see me on TV last Wednesday? I am such a star....and everyone in the studio was happy to see me again.
I am ready for adoption. Now I will need a very special family. The perfect family is one with other little dogs for me to play with...I love running and playing. But sometimes, my back right leg will collapse...it doesn't hurt but it might scare you when you see it happen. Also, I sometimes get little pee sized bumps on my back..sorta like a pimple. That's good. Those are pieces of the bullets working themselves out of my body.
Let's see, what else, Oh, I sleep in bed with my foster parents. It is so nice because my foster mom pets me during the night.

AS OF SEPTEMBER 2016 This sweet little 2 year old dog was running loose, hit by a car and shot by teenagers with a .22 in Springfield, Oh.
If it had not been for the kindness of the Clark County Humane Society this sweet dog would have surely died. But he was taken to an excellent Veterinary Hospital where he received the start of his second chance at a good, loving life.
In January of 2015, Coach was adopted to a family in Springfield, Ohio. On August 21, 2016, LUV4K9s received a call that a microchip in a seriously hurt dog was traced to our rescue. Horror of horrors. Following State law, we waited three days while Clark County had the owners release the dog to their care. Once that was done, LUV4K9s was able to claim the dog.
After 8 days in the ICU at Northwood Veterinary Hospital we were able to pick him up and place him in foster care.
Starting September 1 he will begin therapy with Verterinary Alternatives in Yellow Springs.
We do not know what his progress will be like but we are committed to giving Coach a better life filled with love and caring people. We do know that his care is going to be expensive.
AS OF 11/27/14 Coach is a 12 week old puppy that was an owner surrender. He is such a funny dog. He is going through the typical puppy behaviors and will not be housebroken at this time. If you think you would be interested please fill out our application and we can start the process. Please email us with any questions you have regarding this dog that is not covered in this bio.
Some of our dogs come with papers from the original owners. We cannot guarantee the papers we receive have not been altered in some way. We rely on the HONESTY of the people we rescue our dogs from.
Our adoption area is OHIO, KENTUCKY, AND INDIANA. WE DO NOT SHIP NOR ARRANGE TRANSPORTS.

Our adoption fee is $300.00 which includes spay/neuter, routine shots, rabies, worming, microchipping, heartworm testing and they are on monthly preventative.
