Meet Halo
Halo is a 7 year old, 45 lb Labradoodle. Halo’s had a hard life so far and his experiences with people before being rescued have not been good. In spite of all this, Halo is emerging as a goofy, curious and sweet boy!
The best family for Halo would be one with no kids, experienced with dogs, nice yard and understand that a neglected or abused dog who might have a bite history in the past can still be a good dog. Halo did have a bite history in the past with strangers who approached him too fast and enthusiastically and he can still be fearful of strangers but he warms up when approached in the right way. He has mild energy and doesn’t need much exercise. he's a pretty laid back guy.
Halo loves the two other dogs in his foster home and often initiates play with them. He also loves to run and play fetch.
He is so eager to please! He’s house-trained, sits up very straight before his meals, can shake on command and also drop on command. Halo is walking well on a leash although we recommend that he be muzzled.
Halo is easy going and low maintenance.
