Nolah Chihuahua Langley, BC

Cutie Nolah is being fostered in Nanaimo, BC. Here is how her past owner / fostermom has described her:

Sweet Nolah is 5 years old and weighs around 7 lbs. Nolah is a lovely little girl who is devoted to her person. She gets along with other dogs. She is afraid of cats. It takes time for her to tolerate men and tall men frighten her. Although she is good with my two grandsons (5 and 8) she must be watched with children.

She barks only when she thinks something is wrong and when she sees someone near the house. She stops quickly when asked.

She is house trained but doesn’t ask to go out so letting her out often works well. She will sleep in a crate but prefers to be close to you on the bed.
She likes nothing better than to sit beside you (or on the back of the couch) and have you pet her. When you stop she will put your hand back on her head for more. She also doesn’t mind being on her own and will go off to sleep on the couch or in her crate by herself.

Nolah would do best in a quiet home with an older family, no children, who will take her for walks and maybe even the occasional hike. She loves walking on the beach.

She is spayed, her teeth have been cleaned, and she is up to date on her shots and very healthy except for a slight irritable bowel syndrome. She takes medication about once a week for this so it doesn’t bother her at all. The meds only cost about $25 every 3 to 4 months.

She has a beautiful flowing coat which was recently (accidentally) cut down. But in full coat she is magnificent! Her hind feathers get long enough to trail on the ground and the hair on her ears grows long and makes her look like a Papillon ... so beautiful.

Nolah is truly an adorable little girl and is easy to love and easily loves back.
