Caspar - update Dec 2 Labrador Retriever Mix St Stephen, NB

Update Dec 2: CASPER is a gentle, sweet dog who needs to build some confidence (walking the trail tonight, even the flashlight unnerved him a bit). He is young, but does not have over the top energy and is quick to go find a sofa to lie on. Casper is anxious about being alone, easily goes into his kennel, but gets upset when left. He is currently on meds in the evening as we work to get him comfortable with being alone overnight. Routine is key, as is ensuring he has enough exercise to burn off a bit of that anxious energy. Casper's ideal home would (at least initially) have time during the day to continue to work with him helping him learn that it's okay to be alone and that he is safe. Casper is a very soft boy, good with other dogs (he can be overwhelmed if a dog is too much or rough, but he loves to play). Casper is also very sweet to cats, a bit overenthusiastic at first, but quickly learns his boundaries with them. Casper has a bit of "happy tail" and is a HUGE wiggler when excited and happy. He was found in Lawrence Station on Halloween, a young dog of about 1 year +/-, a mix of many breeds (I picked one randomly). He is a large dog, a bit slim, will need to gain a bit of weight.
